In October 2016, Oliver Carpenter suffered a spinal-cord injury that would change his life forever. On New Years Eve 2016, life-long friends Ross Casserly and James Fox organised a charity football match at their childhood football club to raise money to help Oliver adapt to his new way of life.

In early 2018, Oliver and Ross decided to come together to form their own charity aimed at helping young people who have suffered spinal cord injuries and in October 2018 Scinergise was born!

Scinergise aims to provide financial support to young people who have suffered spinal cord injuries so that they can improve their quality of life post-injury by purchasing products, services and/or experiences that do not fall under the remit of care provided by the statutory authorities in the UK.

It is our mission to empower young people with spinal cord injuries.
